BLC Meeting Minutes - 1/13/07

The meeting was called to order at 11:40pm by President Bryan.

Bryan opened the floor to any volunteers to fill officer positions. The responsibilities of treasurer has been passed to Jesse Leonardi. Anna Akepyan, Amir Turulja, Karl Erdmenn, Dong Hyak and Derek Zhao expressed interest in filling officer positions.

Advisor Leslie Lum informed the quorum of Jan 19th's Financial Future Education project. The BLC is required to post posters around campus and act as aids to this event. The BLC Kick Off Party will be in conjunction with this event as the BLC will be a booth among other visitor booths in room C-120 A and B, 10:30am to 1pm. BLC's sister chapter at North Seattle Community College, the BLT (Business Leadership Team) has been invited to take part in this event.

Guest Jacob Peltier, BLC's ASG representative presented to the BLC, Entrepreneurship Week held on February 24th through March 3rd. This is a national program hosted by BCC. The BLC's responsibility in this is to prepare a sub program: venture capitalism and Peace Tree - Veterans of Vietnam who work on economic restructuring of post war Vietnam. Entrepreneurship Week is held in conjunction with Internship Week. BLC will participate in the Fashion Show.

The International Mixer has been moved to Feb 2nd.

Beth Apple stopped by to inform BLC of Internship Week.

Faisal Jaswal stopped in to see what's up.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday the 17th. Room A-255 at 11:30pm.
